ISLAMABAD — In a monumental victory for Pakistani diplomacy, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif officially announced on Monday that a comprehensive “Peace Deal” between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran has been successfully reached. Serving as the core mediator, Pakistan helped broker the agreement which mandates an immediate and permanent termination of military operations across all fronts, alongside the opening of the strategic Strait of Hormuz. Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb hailed the deal as a proud moment for Pakistan and a great catalyst for the global economy, as oil prices immediately tumbled and global market tensions eased. The official signing ceremony is locked for Friday, June 19, in Switzerland.
