ISLAMABAD — The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) has given the final green light for the historic merger between PTCL Group (Ufone) and Telenor Pakistan. This creates the country’s largest telecom entity with a combined subscriber base of over 70 million. The merger is set to accelerate the infrastructure rollout for 5G services across Pakistan, particularly in underserved regions.
