ISLAMABAD / KARACHI — According to the latest data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the country’s technology exports have witnessed a massive 33% year-on-year growth, reaching an impressive $423 million for the single month of April 2026. This extends a continuous streak where monthly IT export revenue has comfortably held above the $400 million milestone. Financial advisers noted that cumulative IT exports for the first 10 months of the fiscal year have now scaled to $3.81 billion, surpassing previous full-year benchmarks. Analysts attribute this surge to expanding global cloud services, artificial intelligence workflows, and robust international freelance talent acquisition.
