THAR / BERLIN — Pakistan has signed a massive $1.2 billion agreement with a German energy consortium to launch a Green Ammonia production plant in Thar. By utilizing solar and wind power, the facility will produce carbon-free hydrogen, positioning Pakistan as an emerging player in the global green fuel market. This project aims to decrease the country’s reliance on imported fertilizers and fuel by 2030.
