LAHORE / KARACHI — The wait for 5G in Pakistan is nearing its end. Top mobile operators have successfully completed 5G trials in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. According to the PTA, internet speeds of up to 1.5 Gbps were recorded during these trials. Commercial launch is expected next month, set to transform the experience of gaming, streaming, and remote work. Demand for affordable 5G smartphones has also surged in the market.
