BEIJING — In tandem with the B2B tech signings, China is officially exploring long-term commodity procurement and sector-specific investments in Pakistan’s mining, agriculture, and textile sectors. Following a high-level official engagement between Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan and top executives from eight prominent Chinese corporate giants, Beijing laid out plans to diversify its import footprint. The strategic discussions focused heavily on bringing advanced Chinese seed technology to upgrade Pakistan’s cottonseed quality, expanding digital e-commerce trade, and scaling up value-added mineral and food processing exports.
